Court Square Fountain

This beautiful fountain is topped by a statue of Hebe, Goddess of Youth and Cupbearer to the gods and was built in 1885 over an existing artesian basin. The fountain, hauntingly serene, sits on the historic One Court Square which was a central slave-trading area, where Rosa Parks was arrested, and the start of the Civil War and Civil Rights Movement.
